Emily (who we are)

Lilium superbum
Turk's Cap Lily
LILIACEAE

Turk's Cap Lily by Ed UtzThis is the American Turkscap Lily one of our true, native species of lily. Unlike the cultivated lily, this one grows wild in wet meadows, swamps, and woods in eastern United States from Southern New Hampshire to Georgia and Alabama (zones 4-7).

It grows to a height of 3-10 feet with leaves from 2-6 inches and as many as forty flowers on a single plant. It is the largest of the native lilies.

It prefers full sun to partial shade and moist, acidic soil.
