"Compost! Growing Gardens from Your Garbage"
By Linda Glaser with Anca Hariton (illustrator)

This picture water-colored book is for the very young future gardener, ages 3-6.

It tells all about composting. A serious subject for little tikes but done with humor. It explains what it is, how to do it, and what it is used for. Just the basics please.

An entire family becomes involved in collecting their own garbage. An old pumpkin here, beans from a dinner there, leaves, and even contributions from the pet rabbit. Everyone is involved.

And one step further, at the end of the book there are questions and answers for future composting.
